Day 2: The Ken’s come to town

By December 2, 2011News

On a day where Ken Livingstone comes to talk to the people of Bristol about the difference a mayor can make, another Ken – Ken Loach – will be talking about the difference film can make to Palestine.  In a slight change to schedule Ken Loach will be joined on a panel with Andrew Kavanagh director of Hassan Everywhere, and Vanessa Rousselot director of (No) Laughing Matter.  Tickets are available from the Watershed Box Office.

There are many more events on throughout the next nine days -log onto the full programme here.  Last night saw the opening of the Bristol Palestine Art and Photography Exhibition.  With art, photography, models, and videos – this proves to be one of the most engaging exhibitions in Bristol during the next ten days.  We urge you not to miss it – check out the opening times here.  This coming Saturday sees the screening of Jaffa: The Orange’s Clockwork one of the leading films in our festival programme, more details to follow…
