Short Films & Dabke Performance

Sunday 30th November, 2025, at 15:15 to 17:00
Arnolfini, BS1 4QA
£11.50 / £9.50 (£6 concession). Children free.

In partnership with Amos Trust and Bethlehem Cultural Festival.

A joyful afternoon of Palestinian culture for all ages. Enjoy a lively programme of short films perfect for families, followed by a high-energy performance from the Dabke Dance Troupe of Alrowwad Cultural and Arts Society, based in Aida Refugee Camp, Bethlehem.

These ten young dancers have been lighting up stages across the UK with their warmth, rhythm, and exuberance. And if you fancy giving dabke a try yourself, come along to the one-hour workshop before the show (see workshop details).

The Short film programme includes five festival favourites, all suitable for a family audience, as well as 3 short animations made by the Haneen Koraz Children’s Animation Workshop in Gaza. The workshop was the beneficiary of a donation from our festival last year, all raised through merchandise sales and audience donations—thank you Bristol for your generosity.
