With readings from Iqbal Tamimi, Julie-ann Rowell, Susan Boyle & John Terry

Join us for a warm and insightful evening of poetry readings and cultural exchange as we bring together an international collection of award-winning poets exploring the theme of ‘journeys’ to and away from home. The evening will showcase some of the best Palestinian poetry by award-winning, Bristol-based journalist and writer, Iqbal Tamimi. Acclaimed poet and novelist Julie-ann Rowell will also be reading. They will be joined by Sue Boyle organizer of the regular Café Writing days and the Bath Poetry Café and John Terry whose collection Building Wings 2009, was described by Philip Roth as an exploration, in a craftsman’s company.
