Five Broken Cameras (15)
Taking five years and five damaged cameras to make, this documentary was shot entirely by Palestinian peasant farmer Emad Burnat. Chronicling the events in his village, both private and public, we witness a fence, then a wall, going up on the villagers’ land, while peaceful protests lead to the arrests of friends and family.
“… a gripping piece of political activism, and an arresting piece of cinema that plunges the viewer into the face of real-life conflict.” TheLondonFilmReview.com.
This screening is supported by Tom Clark.
